Shaista joined Henry Hyams in September 2021 having been admitted as a solicitor in October 2020. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2016 with a first class degree in LLB Law and completed her LPC at BPP, graduating with a distinction.

Shaista’s caseload covers work in relation to Non-Molestation Orders, Private Law Children’s matters, Divorce and Financial matters. She has had experience in dealing with divorce/cohabitation and the financial impact the breakdown has on the parties. She has a special interest in private children cases which involve more complicated matters i.e. international elements or domestic abuse. Shaista undertakes privately funded work and also that which is funded by the Legal Aid Agency.

Shaista is fluent in Punjabi.

In her spare time Shaista enjoys baking, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
