Part of the Henry Hyams team since 1978, Clive has been a partner at the firm for almost 30 years. Initially dividing his time between criminal and family law, being accredited to the Care Panel for 20 years, he now works exclusively within criminal law. In the past, Clive has provided his services on a voluntary basis via the Law Centre and Citizens Advice Bureau. Clive is considered one of the region’s foremost criminal defence lawyers. His experience and skill in all areas of crime has played a major role in establishing the firm’s reputation as leading criminal specialists.

As well as representing the best interests of his clients, Clive has served his communities of Leeds and West Yorkshire by making himself available 24/7 for police station and court work. He has been Duty Solicitor on New Years Eve for the last two years and again in 2012. He is approachable, caring and well known throughout the West Yorkshire legal community. 

Clive is a Higher Rights Advocate; is on the Duty Solicitors panel for Leeds and is an Accredited Police Station Representative.
