New Driver Provisions
A new driver is one who has held a licence for less than 2 years. If a new driver hits 6 penalty points within those first 2 years the DVLA will revoke the licence, replace it with a provisional licence, and require the driver to do the theory and practical tests again before the full licence is reissued.
This can be awkward and expensive. If there is any risk of this happening to you, we can offer you practical, friendly advice on how to deal with the situation.
